As a doctoral candidate in Performance Psychology, I have learned that in any form of competition as in life in general, one of the main determinants in success is sustained motivation. We all know that we start out in many of our new quests excited and ready to go but after a while we sometimes lose interest or momentum, even when the endeavor is something that is in or best interest be it our overall health or by helping us reach an elite level in our chosen field of endeavor. The major difference in people who achieve success and those who do not, in most cases, have nothing to do with ability or work ethic, in most situations it is the lack of “Grit” and “Mental Toughness” to see our goals and projects through. “Grit” & “Mental Toughness” aren't things that we are born with, they are learned traits and there are many tools of Self-Actualization that we at Nothing 2 Lose practice and teach within our personal enhancement sessions. Theses tools and this mantra is one which you will be able to carry throughout your life that will help you through many and any tough situations.
